We’re a “New School”
Beaches QuickSilver focuses on the present, but with the future in mind. We offer a planned progression built on the most important parts of swimming:
- Correct stroke technique to eliminate drag and potential injuries;
- Correct stroke technique at goal pace.
Our summer league team competes in the WeRise Swim League against local teams in our area.
Our pool: 2701 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224 (brand new state of the art facility at the Providence School)
On Beaches Quicksilver, we are focused on building skills, confidence and community.
Our goal is to provide a fun place for kids to learn proper technique, build endurance and foster sportsmanship. We want to provide every swimmer an opportunity to succeed at his or her level, from novice to competitor.
Locally in Florida, Beaches Quicksilver was founded in 2024 by Monique Salles-Cunha van Gils. She is excited to create a swim program for all levels of swimmers where she grew up. 2024 was our first summer swim team and we had 100+ kids and an amazing summer. Coach Mo hopes to continue to teach younger swimmers the importance of proper technique and incorporate fun into summer swim!
About Us
Beaches Quicksilver Summer League Swim Team is a community-focused youth program base in North Florida. We welcome swimmers ages 4–18 and emphasize strong fundamentals, confidence-building, and a positive team environment. We offer pre-swim team lessons, developmental teams, and a competitive USA swim team.
Our Partner Teams
Quicksilver Swimming is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. We were founded in 2011 by Andre Salles-Cunha and Liv Weaver since then the California branch has tripled in size! QSS fills the need for competitive swimming, healthy performance, and masters swimming. We salute our swimmers for the excellent job they have done in and out of the water. The motivation shown in the pool has inspired us to fight harder to keep this team moving forward and to overcome any obstacles. Recently the boys team won Wester Winter Nationals 2025 and broke Bolles' national age group record in the 200 Free Relay. This is an amazing accomplishment.
Our Florida location is brand new, but are excited about the possibilities the future holds and hope to excel as our family partners in California have.

We use swimmingly.app for all swim meet declarations and team registrations. We will also use our year round teams swim software platform for attendance, text messages for weather updates and reminders, and email communications. Please register for both swimmingly and captyn.

When: Season Registration & Sign-Ups open on Feb 15th
Why: Parents/Guardians, once you register & sign-up your swimmer(s) using the instructions below, they'll
automatically populate on the roster and become active for the season! Per the Swimmingly® Child Protection Policy, as
a guardian, you will have oversight of your swimmer(s) and can invite other parents/guardians/grandparents that you
wish to affiliate with your swimmers in the Swimmingly® Clubhouse!
You must register & sign-up your swimmer(s) using these instructions to participate in the season.
The Swimmingly® Clubhouse will be your home for your swimmer results, meet declarations, time improvements, best times, and MORE!
The steps below are required for ALL (new and returning) swimmers to swim in meets this season. Please take action ASAP so we can get ready for the swim season!
